Batting first Purbrook scored a creditable 236 against a good bowling attack with Jack May(5), Alex Thakore(5), Craig Marsh(4) and Mike Russell(4) scoring well. Burridge scored freely reaching 288. The Purbrook bowlers battled well without much luck, Ben Hodge and Ben Mitchell took the wickets.
Purbrook lost by 52 runs, but still a much improved performance from last season.
