Purbrook won the toss and put Cadnam into bat. Some excellent, tight bowling from Wyman Babbage, Tom Pasterfield and Mike Burrows restricted Cadnam to 147-5 off 40 overs, but the batsman then went for the run-chase, adding 47 runs in the last 5 overs, finishing on 194-6.
Best overall bowling figures were Mike Burrows', 12-2-34-2.
Purbrook sufferd a major collapse at the start of their innings. They were 43-5 in the 15th over, but then Mike Burrows(31) and Nielsen Wallis(33) dropped anchor for a while, to put on 70 for the 6th wicket. Once they were gone, however, it was really curtains and Purbrook were bowled out for 120 in 36 overs.
